About Me

I have always had a strong interest in the arts and co-wrote my first play “The Wizard of Words” in sixth grade.

After college, I began working with film, television, and fiction writers at the William Morris Agency in Los Angeles. I really enjoyed working with writers, giving them notes on their scripts and encouraging them to keep going with their projects. While in California, I also worked in TV development, read scripts for comedians at a management company, and did special projects for New Regency Films on the Warner Bros. lot. Back in New York, I spent eight years at Sesame Workshop (Sesame Street), where I had the opportunity to coach high-profile women for speaking engagements including the New York Women in Film & Television’s Muse Awards and the New York Women in Communication’s Matrix Awards, and for appearances on Fox News, and YouTube, among other outlets. I edit speeches and work with clients on their written material as well as their presentation skills.

I first began speaking about creativity when I was a student at Emerson College. I have put together accountability groups for creative women and for several years I served on the board of CineWomenNY, a non-profit for filmmakers. I have been coaching informally for a long time and became a certified coach in 2014. Since then, I have studied with Julia Cameron, author of The Artist’s Way, and have taken courses with Eric Maisel, author, coach, and founder of the field of creativity coaching.

I also understand the rigors of a creative life. I am a filmmaker who has faced the blank page and moved past my fears to see my work shown on the Oxygen Network and in film festivals as well as being accepted into the From Script to Preproduction (FS2p) incubator lab of New York Women in Film & Television.

I truly enjoy helping writers and other creatives make progress on their books, plays, screenplays, speeches, blog posts, and other dreams.

I work well with beginners as well as seasoned professionals and I feel great pride and satisfaction in helping clients see what is possible for themselves.
